How do I know if a webinar counts as live or home study CPE credit?

Live activities are CPE sessions that are held either in person or virtually in real time. If you attend a live webinar during a specific date and time and you had the opportunity to interact with the speaker(s), usually during a Q&A period (via voice or live chat), the activity counts as live credit.

Note

The ACPE Universal Activity Number (UAN) will have an “L” in it; ie, XXXX-XXXX-XX-XXX-LXX-X

Home study activities do not occur in real time and are often taken at your convenience. If you completed a home study webinar that included watching a recorded video and viewing a handout or slides that you clicked through independently and you could not interact with the speaker(s) live in real time, the activity counts as home study credit.

Note

The ACPE Universal Activity Number (UAN) will have an “H” in it; ie, XXXX-XXXX-XX-XXX-HXX-X
