The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy® (NABP®) is introducing the official practice examination for the Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination® (MPJE®). The MPJE tests candidates for licensure in participating jurisdictions on their mastery of pharmacy law. The Pre-MPJETM is the only practice exam that features valid questions from previous versions of the MPJE.

The Pre-MPJE joins two other NABP practice exams, the Pre-NAPLEX® and Pre-FPGEE®. The Pre-MPJE was developed in response to feedback from people who have taken the other NABP pre-exams and wanted assistance in preparing for the MPJE.

“Statistically, groups of students who take NABP practice exams to prepare for the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination® and Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination® have higher pass rates than those who do not take them. NABP’s pre-exams familiarize students with the types of questions that will be asked and the exam formats to better prepare them for exam day,” said NABP President Jack W. “Jay” Campbell IV, JD, RPh. “We’re anticipating similar results from those who take the Pre-MPJE in preparation for the MPJE.”

Administrators may purchase jurisdiction-specific Pre-MPJE vouchers in bulk to give to their students. It is now easier than ever for schools and colleges of pharmacy to order vouchers for their students using NABP’s online ordering system. School administrators follow a similar process for voucher-ordering for the Pre-MPJE as for the Pre-NAPLEX.

The Pre-MPJE is now available for purchase for $65 per exam. Learn more about the Pre-MPJE by visiting the NABP website.
