Last summer, NABP revealed a new logo and look for its brand. We combined the old with the new to create an aesthetic that was refreshing and uniquely ours.
As part of the rebranding process, we gave our accreditation programs new names that were shorter and more straight-forward, enabling customers to more easily identify the accreditation services that they need.
- Verified Internet Pharmacy Practice Sites® (VIPPS®) will transition to NABP Digital Pharmacy Accreditation
- Verified-Accredited Wholesale Distributors® (VAWD®) will transition to NABP Drug Distributor Accreditation
- Verified- Accredited Device Integrity Program® (VDIP®) will transition to NABP OTC Medical Device Distributor Accreditation
And the new seals highlight the accreditation category rather than a program acronym. See an example of the new seals versus the old seals:
These differences make it clearer to patients and customers what the accreditation is for and emphasize that pharmacies and distributors have been accredited or verified by us. This allows customers to showcase their accreditation from the Association, which has the long-established reputation as a trustworthy standard-setter for the pharmacy industry.
In addition to new names, we’ve also added entirely new programs to our portfolio: compounding and specialty. These options make it easier for customers to package programs together for a more efficient and cost-effective accreditation process.
We will begin to send out the new seals at the end of February. If you want to learn more about our accreditation programs, you can fill out the interest form below.
