What does NABP review to issue my NABP Verify credential?
When NABP Verify provides professional credential verification services to employers and pharmacists, these services are considered background checking services under federal and state law. Although we do not conduct typical background screenings, such as credit and criminal checks, we comply with the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and similar state laws in performing these licensure and credential verification services. We collect information from you and other sources to verify professional licensure, registration, credentials, pharmacy education, employment data, and regulatory or law enforcement discipline or sanctions.
