Does NABP determine or assist in determining a state licensing decision?
NABP does not make any licensure decisions, nor do we assist in making state licensure decisions. We conduct a thorough inspection, authenticate and validate information, and provide this to the boards of pharmacy and other applicable regulators as verified data upon their request. We do not issue a certificate that your facility was inspected.
We continue to discuss with the state boards of pharmacy how to further develop our programs to assist their information needs; however, it is left to individual states receiving the inspection reports to make licensing/renewal decisions.
