What if I experience technical difficulties while taking a practice exam?
Most technical difficulties with the Pre-NAPLEX, Pre-MPJE, or Pre-FPGEE are related to browser incompatibility or connectivity problems.
Before contacting our Customer Engagement department, make sure you are using a desktop computer; a direct, high-speed internet connection; and a compatible browser. Other common technical difficulties are listed below with troubleshooting information:
- If a new tab opens with an error message, ensure your pop-up blockers are disabled. Your practice exam will open in a new tab.
- If your screen freezes, click the refresh button on your browser and the exam should resume.
- If the entire computer is frozen, restart your computer and log in to your e-Profile to launch the exam again. You will pick up the exam from the point where you left off.
- If you accidentally close your browser or your computer shuts down, log in to your e-Profile and launch the exam again. You will pick up the exam from the point where you left off.
- Some companies may utilize firewalls that restrict practice exam functionality. Try accessing the exam on a personal computer or network rather than a work computer.
