By applying for and receiving a Preoperational Inspection, does our facility still need to apply for state licensure?
The Preoperational Inspection process and your resident or nonresident licensure application are separate. You must contact the state board of pharmacy or applicable state agency directly to apply for any state resident or nonresident licensure. In addition, it is recommended that you also contact the board of pharmacy or applicable state agency to determine if a Preoperational Inspection will suffice for any inspection requirements associated with that state resident or nonresident licensure application.
Each state has individual requirements for resident or nonresident licensure that may not include or recognize the Preoperational Inspection.
