Exam Results
Pass or Fail exam results are posted in your NABP e-Profile for the majority of jurisdictions.
If the primary jurisdiction for which you are testing uses NABP’s online exam result platform, you will receive Pass or Fail exam results within 14 business days after you have taken the MPJE or UMPJE.
Candidates who are seeking licensure in the following jurisdictions are required to receive their exam results directly from these jurisdictions:
- Guam
- Illinois
- Minnesota
The posting of a passing result on an examination does not constitute a license to practice pharmacy. Only the boards of pharmacy have the authority to issue a license.

UMPJE Score Transfer
The score transfer program saves time and allows you to move ahead with licensure in more than one participating jurisdiction. Score transfers are not available for the MPJE.
Candidates seeking initial licensure can transfer their UMPJE score only after passing the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination® (NAPLEX®). If you pass the NAPLEX after passing the UMPJE, the UMPJE score transfer option will become available in your NABP e-Profile after passing the NAPLEX. You can then purchase NAPLEX and/or UMPJE score transfers within the 89 days after your NAPLEX test date.
When purchasing UMPJE score transfers, you may select jurisdictions in addition to the primary jurisdiction where you are seeking licensure. We will transmit your score to those boards of pharmacy that accept the UMPJE.
- Score transfer requests can be submitted via your NABP e-Profile.
- If you pass the UMPJE after passing the NAPLEX, you will have up to 89 days after sitting for the UMPJE to purchase your UMPJE score transfer.
- If you pass the NAPLEX after passing the UMPJE, you will have up to 89 days after sitting for the NAPLEX to purchase your UMPJE and NAPLEX score transfers.
- Candidates are restricted to purchasing UMPJE score transfers for their primary NAPLEX jurisdiction and/or NAPLEX score transfer jurisdictions.
- The cost is $105 per jurisdiction.
- Purchase score transfer requests as soon as they are available for purchase; waiting until the last day may result in the score transfer request option being unavailable.
Authorization to Share Exam Results
At this time, NABP will also release exam results to the board of pharmacy designated on your MPJE or UMPJE application. Any jurisdictions that you selected for score transfer will also receive the exam results.
Before you start the exam, you will be presented with a waiver that, if accepted, will authorize NABP to share your exam results with your college of pharmacy. Sharing your results with your college of pharmacy is optional but highly encouraged to provide colleges with additional information about class pass rates. Regardless of your exam results, there will be no repercussions on the conference of your degree.
