Will NABP send us official notification/certification of our VPP status?
A VPP Inspection is not a certification and no “status” is granted upon completion of the process. We conduct a thorough inspection, authentication of the pharmacy’s licenses, and validation of other information. We provide an inspection report and give the facility an opportunity to respond. We make that same report and responses available to state boards of pharmacy upon their request. They may use the information to make licensing decisions. NABP does not make licensure decisions.
