What is pharmacy accreditation exemption for DMEPOS and how do I qualify?
Pharmacies that meet certain criteria may file an accreditation exemption statement with the appropriate Enrollment Contractor Novitas (NPE East) or Palmetto (NPE West) to seek exemption from the DMEPOS accreditation requirement.
NABP is not involved in the pharmacy exemption process and questions regarding pharmacy exemption should be directed to the applicable Enrollment Contractor.
