How should we submit our responses to the completed VPP inspection report?
All responses must be submitted using the VPP Inspection Response Template. Your responses can include steps taken to correct any noncompliant items, or an explanation of why your pharmacy need not remediate, and necessary documentation.
If you are including attachments, it is important that each page within the compiled electronic attachments be clearly identified, whether it is by attachment number or by title at the top of each page. Your response may include:
- documentation or records that were not available to the inspector at the time of inspection,
- an explanation of items that are not required by your state of residence, and
- any steps you have taken or will take to remediate items not in compliance with your state.
You will have 30 days from the date you receive the final inspection report to respond. No responses will be received after that time and no extensions will be granted.
Send all requests to inspections@nabp.pharmacy.
