Does NABP accept ETS’s MyBest scores for TOEFL iBT?
Starting November 1, 2026, you can submit MyBest Scores to meet the acceptance requirement for the 2027 FPGEE administration. If your score was submitted prior to November 1, you will not be able to use MyBest Scores.
My Best Scores are a combination of the highest section scores from all your valid test dates within a rolling 2-year period. Read more about score requirements in the Communications Skills Requirement section of the Bulletin.
Example Candidate Scenarios
- A candidate submits a new FPGEC application in December 2026 with MyBest Scores from TOEFL exams taken in November 2025 and October 2026. The MyBest Scores will be accepted.
- A candidate has an FPGEC application with a passing TOEFL score that is still being reviewed by NABP on November 2, 2026. The candidate does not need to submit a new TOEFL score.
