Inspection Forms Content Reviews
Working Together to Create Robust Inspection Processes
NABP has developed a process for the regular review of inspection form content, which considers industry comments and includes committee review to help maintain the integrity of its inspection programs. The inclusive comment process provides an opportunity for inspected entities to share their perspectives on activities observed during the inspection. NABP simultaneously monitors the pharmacy and distribution landscape, as well as legislative changes for their possible impact.
Focus Comments Sought From Participants
Entities that have completed a pharmacy or distribution-related inspection may submit comments to NABP about their inspection experience or particular inspection issues. Specific comments about why and how we observe certain activities or suggestions to eliminate or include additional observed activities can be submitted at any time. Comments are routinely monitored to determine if any require immediate consideration and, each January, inspection programs undergo a formal review process on a rotating basis.
