Title: Task Force on the Regulation of Pharmacist Care Services
Membership Vote: PASS

WHEREAS, the provision of pharmacist care outside the traditional pharmacy setting is a regulatory area in which state boards of pharmacy are seeking assistance; and

WHEREAS, it may be necessary for some states to enact laws and/or regulations addressing the provision of pharmacist care services outside of a traditional pharmacy setting;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that NABP convene a task force to recommend amendments to the Model State Pharmacy Act and Model Rules of the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy to assist boards in oversight and regulation of pharmacist care outside the traditional pharmacy setting.
