Introduction

The task force met on October 18-19, 2022, at NABP Headquarters in Mount Prospect, IL, and
virtually on November 9, 2022. This task force was established pursuant to the Report of the Model
Act Review Committee, which recommended that a task force be convened to review the various
sections of the Model State Pharmacy Act and Model Rules of the National Association of Boards of
Pharmacy (Model Act), and the presidential initiative of NABP President Reginald B. “Reggie” Dilliard, DPh.

Review of the Task Force Charge

Task force members reviewed their charge and accepted it as follows:

  1. Review the Model Rules for the Practice of Pharmacy;
  2. Review the recommendations made by the Work Group on Workplace Safety, Well-Being, and
    Working Conditions; and
  3. Amend, if necessary, the Model Act accordingly.
