Introduction

The task force met on October 10-11, 2022, at NABP Headquarters in Mount Prospect, IL, and
virtually on November 1 and 11, 2022. This task force was established pursuant to the Report of
the Model Act Review Committee, which recommended that a task force be convened to review
the language in the licensing and disciplinary sections of the Model State Pharmacy Act and
Model Rules of the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (Model Act).

Review of the Task Force Charge

Task force members reviewed their charge and accepted it as follows:

  1. Review Article III Licensing (of people), Article IV Licensing of Facilities, and Article V
    Discipline pursuant to the recommendations made by the Model Act Review Committee;
    and
  2. Amend, if necessary, the Model Act accordingly.
