Reginald B. “Reggie” Dilliard, DPh, was elected to serve a three-year member term, representing District 3, on the Executive Committee of the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy® (NABP®) during the Association’s 113th Annual Meeting, May 20-23, 2017, in Orlando, FL.

Mr Dilliard currently serves as executive director of the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy. Prior to this position, he was a member of the Board from 2000 to 2006. Before serving as executive director, Mr Dilliard worked as a pharmacy manager at Walgreens for almost 30 years. Mr Dilliard was also the pharmacist and manager of Super D Drugs for more than a decade.

An active member of NABP, Mr Dilliard has served on the Association’s task forces and committees, including the Task Force on the Regulation of Pharmacist Care Services, the Task Force to Develop Recommendations to Best Reduce Medication Errors in Community Pharmacy Practice, the Committee on Law Enforcement/Legislation, and the Committee on Constitution and Bylaws. Mr Dilliard previously served a three-year member term on the Executive Committee from 2005 to 2008.

Mr Dilliard is also an active member of other pharmacy organizations. He previously served as president of the Tennessee Pharmacists Association and chaired several committees.

Further, Mr Dilliard received the Pharmacy Leadership Award from the National Community Pharmacists Association, the Merck Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Profession of Pharmacy, the Award of Merit from the Tennessee Pharmacists Association, and the Outstanding Leadership Award from the University of Tennessee.

Mr Dilliard earned his bachelor of science degree in pharmacy from the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy.
