Initiated by the Dr. Lorna Breen Heroes’ Foundation, the Wellbeing First Champion Challenge for Pharmacy Licensing aims to remove the stigma surrounding mental health treatment so health care workers are not dissuaded from getting the help they need.
Through the Wellbeing First Champion Challenge, pharmacy boards are urged to audit and change licensure applications by removing intrusive and stigmatizing language around mental health. Pharmacy boards that verify with the foundation that their applications are free from intrusive questions by March 7, 2025, will be recognized among their peers at the 121st NABP Annual Meeting, May 13-16, 2025.
NABP supports efforts to bolster pharmacists’ well-being and will continue to monitor and report on efforts to improve workplaces.
