Certain marijuana products will be categorized as Schedule III of the Controlled Substances Act, as announced in the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) April 23, 2026 order. This order pertains to medicinal marijuana products that are regulated by a state medicinal marijuana license and products containing marijuana that are approved by Food and Drug Administration.
