What is the latest DMEPOS moratorium?
Effective February 27, 2026, the temporary 6-month nationwide CMS DME moratorium for certain suppliers submitting new Medicare enrollment applications pertains to medical supply companies as defined in the moratorium. Pharmacies that meet NABP’s DMEPOS Pharmacy Accreditation eligibility requirements can apply for accreditation and apply for Medicare DME enrollment once accreditation is achieved.
