Preoperational Inspection
On December 18, 2024, NABP is adjusting the pricing for certain accreditation and inspection programs. To apply under current pricing, your application and payment must be submitted on or before 6 PM CST on December 18, 2024.
The Preoperational Inspection is for both pharmacies and business models engaged in prescription drug and prescription medical devices distribution that are not yet operational.
The cost of Preoperational Inspection for applicants who submit an application and payment on or before 6 PM CST on December 18, 2024 is outlined below:
- Application Fee: $1,000
- Program Fee: $4,000
The cost of Preoperational Inspection for applicants who submit an application and payment after 6 PM CST on December 18, 2024 is outlined below:
- Application Fee: $1,350
- Program Fee: $3,650
An extended inspection fee ($1,500) may be required if NABP determines the work needed to complete the inspection process requires additional time onsite and/or to write the report. An example of when this fee may apply includes when a facility has numerous or complex business models.
When applying for a Preoperational Inspection, understand that NABP does not perform partial inspections; all construction must be completed.
