Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the first generic of Xofluza® tablets, a prescription medication for treating acute, uncomplicated influenza and for post-exposure prophylaxis in individuals five years and older. FDA recommends that health care providers discuss the common side effects of this medication with patients.
