In the US, certain states require prescription discount card marketers/distributors to designate and register a resident agent in their state. Some states limit this requirement to fee-based cards, while other states require registration for all prescription discount cards even those offered without consideration. Before you apply, make sure you are able to provide proof of registration of a designated agent in all required jurisdictions.
