The Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination Committee met January 8, 1990, at NABP headquarters in Park Ridge, Illinois.

FPGEC Program Update

Twenty-five boards of pharmacy currently participate in the FPGEC Certification Program. FPGEC Certification signifies that the educational and licensure qualifications of a graduate of a foreign pharmacy school have been evaluated and verified, that the graduate has successfully completed a valid examination normed on the performance of students in U.S. pharmacy schools, and that the graduate has achieved a score of 550 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Each board sets additional requirements for licensure.
