Items allowed in the testing room:
- Water in a clear container with no label
- Valid driver’s license
- Cough drops (unwrapped)
- Eyeglasses (without the case)
- Hearing aids
- Wheelchairs, crutches, canes, and other mobility devices
- Inhaler (if medically necessary)
- Earplugs
- One blank piece of typing paper (only if you are testing with ProctorU)
Items not allowed in the testing room:
- Books, reference, study, or other such printed materials
- Pens or pencils (will be provided by the proctors)
- Any electronic device including:
- Calculators
- Cell phones
- Any device that has a recorder
- Any device that has a camera (eg, Google Glass)
- Wireless devices such as pagers or Bluetooth headsets
- Digital devices such as watches, activity wristbands, or PDAs
- Outerwear such as coats and hats
- Purses, backpacks, briefcases, and other bags
- Coffee, soda, or other beverages
- Weapons
- Outerwear, such as raincoats/ponchos, winter coats, wind breakers, leather jackets, or sport coats
- Hats, such as knit or baseball caps
Note: Layering with long sleeves and/or a sweater are the preferred recommendations for warmth. Apparel such as hoodies or shirts/pants with multiple pockets are not recommended. Students who wear sweatshirts or hooded zip-ups will be required to turn their pockets inside out and have all hoods and pockets fully inspected.
